Tions

Velcro strap corset T-shirt Raf Simons
Elastic band endorsed loafers Comme des Garçons Homme Plus

Material combination. Surface manipulation. Optical irritation. It wasn't planned, it just happened to me. And it will happen again. You have to admit, they are beautiful creations.

Permanent Crime

Dries van Noten Fall/Winter 2010 (ruined by a permanent marker)

I love my vintage-new Dries shirt. Olive green with thin black outlines, seemingly hand-drawn onto the seam's edges. Painfully, someone took this aesthetic approach literally today. And accidentally ruined it with a permanent marker.

Hunk Arena IV

Top Ann-Sofie Back Fall/Winter 2010
Bottom François Sagat for Bernhard Willhelm

I'll never stop. Untill you're mine. Indeed, the wrestling suit can be interpreted in manifold ways. Besides disco, bondage or parachute, there is also a casual version. 100% sheer organic cotton.

Mutant Engineering

1. Mark Borthwick for Purple Magazine vs. Lars Englund
2. Comme des Garçons Spring/Summer 1997 vs. Cocky Eek Folkert
3. Comme des Garçons Fall/Winter 2010 vs. Cocky Eek Folkert

We know life will be transformed. And things change rapidly. Futurism's most drastic misconception is its projection upon another time, another dimension. Unfortunately, it's already 2011.

Sex In The Woods

1. Dries van Noten Fall/Winter 2007 & Comme des Garçons Fall/Winter 2010
2. Raf Simons Fall/Winter 2002 & Rag & Bone Fall/Winter 2010

I am still turned on by the idea of creating a forest worker. To make it easier attaining this look I have compiled a few hard-on looks from my vast fashion archive. Work it!

Suggestion #4

Leather T-shirt, Maison Martin Margiela Fall/Winter 2010

I've desired this piece from the very first day. And I've tried to comfort myself with a vintage Nicole Farhi leather shirt. But it's not the same. I won't rest until my prayers have been heard.

Corduroy

Top Giorgio Armani Fall/Winter 2002
Bottom James Long Fall/Winter 2010

I'm usually not afraid of questionable or utterly awful things. But corduroy leaves me concerned. Why? Why does it exist? Why do people use it? Why do some people even like it? Especially given the fact that it may have a fashion comeback.

P.S.: Pictures shown above represent noteworthy exceptions. I just couldn't allow myself to post Ralph Lauren.

Little Dress Fight

Raf Simons Fall/Winter 2010 vs. Alex Katz The Black Dress, 1960

Two artists in their own right. Two interpretations of one timeless classic. The uniform of the intellectual elite. The little black dress. Now available for both sexes. I'm a woman.

The Omen I

Tim Soar Fall/Winter 2010

Tempted by the subtle touch of blue. Dark on velvet, electric on hair. Somehow artificial, fake and wrong. But yeah, sometimes I do feel the desire to become a creature of alien-esque appeal.

Revival

Céline Fall/Winter 2010, Fall/Winter 1978, Fall/Winter 1975 & Spring/Summer 1970

Career, yes, but not at any price. Céline successively defined a new kind of woman, the Gentlewoman. A process of such genuinity that no one has really noticed 40 years passing. What date do we have?

Future Projection

Acne Jeans Fall/Winter 2010

Fingers crossed that I will sit in a plane to Stockholm this night. Actually there is two main reasons to go: Kanelbullar and shopping. Besides a beautiful city in general. This is my decent wishlist.

Python

Lanvin Fall/Winter 2010

The dangerous thing about fashion is that once you have satisfied one desire, the next one appears. There is no logic correlation, things just unconsciously manifest themselves in my mind. And now I want snakeskin boots.

Epilogue

Yves Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 2010

A highly relevant addition to our collection of images and thoughts about the plastic raincoat can be found in this season's YSL collection. Crystal clear raincoats, capes and its fragments. In his comment, Jérôme kindly pointed out the inherent 50s/60s reference. I cordially invite everyone to investigate further.

Shift

The Gentlewoman Issue No. 2 vs. Vivienne Westwood Fall/Winter 2010

To continue the thought of our previous post one may state: The future of fashion is defined by men showing cleavage and women wearing beards. I find it positively exhilarating.

OMG MMM

Maison Martin Margiela Fall/Winter 2010

Just when I thought I had satisfied my addiction, these pieces literally pop up in a browser window. Quickly closing the frame to kill the newly awaken desire. Too late, too late. Need.
