Rear View

1. Gucci campaign Fall/Winter 2001
2. Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2002

A little Gucci x Jean Paul Gaultier moment on a friday night can never do wrong. Back cleavage is regrettably underrated. And has mostly been considered a fashion faux-pas. Which is a faux-pas itself.

Consequence

Viktor & Rolf Fall/Winter 2001 & Raf Simons Spring/Summer 2004

When the body serves as nothing but a three-dimensional surface and becomes the message itself. When colour absorbes identity. When clothes become art installations of their own.

Momentary

Marjan Pejoski Fall/Winter 2001

It actually is a piece of fashion history. And I never understood the drama about this wounderful swan dress once worn by Björk. Only the ostrich variation was quite questionable. But aren't fashion sins an existential part of establishing aesthetics?
