Lover Boys

Artworks Felix Gonzalez-Torres

An artwork that replicates the ideal weight of the artist and his partner who was dying at the time the piece was made. Visitors are encouraged to take a piece of candy as the pile should be continuously replenished. A metaphoric creation of the conditions for perpetual life.

Hourglass & Hook

Double-breasted jacket Emporio Armani
Boots Doc Martens

Two things I've always wanted. Ready to be discovered and picked up by me on a grey Saturday morning. Gratification for 15 Euros. And then, the rain began to fall. Isn't everything in life just a question of timing?

A reflection on the smybiosis of photography and fashion - including the oeuvre of houses such as Maison Martin Margiela, Comme des Garcons or Helmut Lang.

Frankfurt, flea market

Street Failure vs. Akris Fall/Winter 2010

Rumours say that the street has become the catwalk. And true beauty is mostly to be found aside known fashion paths. Well, there is a fine line between felicity and failure. There are always two options.

Green tea cake, Imori, Frankfurt

Time to revive an old tradition: the Detail Diary. Green tea cake and coffee at the amazing Imori café. Being served by Japanese ladies in dirndl dresses. I'm still on a caffeine overdose.
