A Blissful Morning

Hello dear readers, how was/is your morning so far? Well, mine started with a grey sky and a mad panic that I was going to late for my train, to attend a business training course. Now I'm back home, while drinking tea under the sunshine, I came across the blissful portfolio of Anne Naumann. It really makes me wish that my morning had started like this...

After waking up in the warm sunshine, I spend a couple of minutes reading the papers in bed while enjoying a cup of morning tea...

then I had a healthy breakfast in the dreaming kitchen, remember an apple a day~

while also admiring my newly filled jars...

thinking "maybe I should take a bath later with some added dried roses"

walking pass the fresh flowers in the living room

to find it is indeed a beautiful day outside...

That really is the dream isn't? Oh, a girl can dream can't she ;)

Whiting not White

Guess what I have in stock for you my darling readers? Have you noticed a trend with Wednesday posts?

Yes, it's yet another inspirational interior post. For those of you that have been reading my little blog for some time, I'm sure you all know how much I love beautiful white spaces right? :) Well, today I'd like to share with you another white, not white interiors but images from the talented photographer Rachel Whiting.

I love the dark wood furniture against the pale wall colours, the white lamps seems to pop out like a bold colour

The retro feel of these rooms adds a lovely soft glamour

How fun is that orange lighting? the coffee table also addes a lovely splash of red

These two beautiful rooms by the seaside has been feature on a few gorgeous blogs but I love it so much I have to show it again, just in case you missed it! ;)

Simple yet so romantic, candle light dinner anyone?

Sigh... if only my storage room would like this!

Hope you're all having a lovely day, I'm off to reply to all your lovely comments now :)
xx

Tim's Wonderland

I have to confess I am not a big magazine reader these days, reading on the internet is much easier for me than sitting there with a magazine reading till my neck hurts. That doesn't mean I don't love magazines, I still read them when I'm on the train and buy them every now and then.

I recently bought the March issue of Vogue UK, which I find is a bit of a hit & miss. Some issues I absolutely love, while other issues makes me think I should've bought something else instead. This month's issue is definitely a hit for me, simple because it feasure two photo series by the amazinly talented Tim Walker. He is definitely one my of fav photographers and I am always in love with his fairytale like photo shoots.

The 40's inspired looks and the styling in this series is so stunning. {sorry for my poor photo quality}

Some of my favorites from his portfolio: {Trust me, this is already a small selection! }

Put simply, the man can do no wrong in my book!

Warm Interiors

The cold weather has made me particularly drawn to warm interiors. (yes snow is beautiful, but not so great when it melts!) These gorgeous photos by Karen Wise (more well known for her wedding photography) are exactly what I need right now, I will be dreaming of reds, warm yellows and burgundy tonight.

What interiors are you drawn to at the moment? For those of you (lucky!) people in warmer parts of the world, maybe something more light & airy? x
