What will the answer to the question Current immigration status while filing EAD electonically, i am on EAD rite now and i have never used my advance parole.* Pls help..
In e-file this question is not mandatory, so I guess we can leave it blank in case we have doubt.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced today that a new version of the Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card (Form I-90), is available on the USCIS website. The new version of the form is dated 8/10/09 and contains more user-friendly features.

This is very confusing. I already sent my I-485 along with a new filing fee of $1010 in total $930 for the application and $80 biometric fee last August 3rd. USCIS already received my application my question is are they going to reject my I-485 b/c they just revised that we have to pay the old filing fee for July Bulletin? I used The current I-485 form version dated �7/30/07 Y�.
I'm so confused! Due to this, I'm just gonna send another application b/c the chances of them rejecting/returning it back to me is High. If they don't return it back this week then I won't be able to file my I-485 after August 17th. Is ok to send another application? Can I just attach an explanation? I would rather take this chance than not being able to file it again after Aug 17.
Can someone please tell me the old filing fee including the biometric fee??

I have been reading some posts since yesterday. I still haven't been able to get a confirmed clarification.
If I am on H1, and change my status on H4 for lets say 8 months. Then decide to start working again on H1, would I be counted against the cap again?
I have been reading some posts which says if I have been counted against the cap once in last 6 years, I won't be counted again. Does that apply when one changes visa status from H1 to H4, and then back to H1.
Has anybody done this successfully. Can you point to some clarification or law from USCIS itself?

I am applying to renew my EAD and looking at the paper Application on page 7 I see that if you are C9 which all of us are mostly..we need not file an application fee..

Yes, you can apply for H-4 despite the fact that she has an H1 petition approved. It is difficult for me to comment on her H-4 rejection chances as I am not familiar with your cases, but generally if you are on valid H-1 status then you should not have problems.
